A $250 refundable Deposit (bond) must be paid for long term (ie semester long) loans of Musical Instruments. During this hire period, students must agree to the following conditions:
- I acknowledge that I have received the instrument in good repair and working order and undertake to accept responsibility for it throughout the term of the loan until its return in good repair and working order to the University
- I will take all reasonable care of this item throughout the term of the loan
- I will not loan the instrument to any other person
- I will not leave the instrument unatttended, or in locations vulnerable to theft or damage (eg. in boot of car etc.)
- I will notify the University immediately in the event of loss, theft or damage and report any theft of the instrument to the police
- If damage is caused to the instrument resulting from lack of care, I accept that the Faculty of Fine Arts & Music will not refund the bond money I have paid
