A $135 refundable Deposit (bond) must be paid for long term (ie semester long) loans of guitar amplifiers and other technical equipment. During this hire period, students must agree to the following conditions:
- I acknowledge that I have received the amplifier in good repair and working order and undertake to accept responsibility for it throughout the term of the loan until its return in good repair and working order to the University
- I will take all reasonable care of this item throughout the term of the loan
- I agree not take the amplifier off campus, understanding that it will not then be covered by the University insurance policy in this instance
- I confirm I am currently hiring a locker on campus in which this amplifier will be stored overnight & across the weekends
- I will not loan the amplifier to any other person
- I will notify the University immediately in the event of loss, theft or damage and report any theft of the instrument to the police
- If damage is caused to the amplifier resulting from lack of care, I accept that the Faculty of Fine Arts & Music will not refund the bond money I have paid
