LOTE Accreditation Examination 2023 - INDONESIAN

The examination for LOTE accreditation in Indonesian is held in June and November each year. The 2023 dates are:

Round 1: Friday 2 June 10.30 am - 12.00 pm

Venue: Room G06, Level 1, Asia Institute, Sidney Myer Asia Centre, 761 Swanston Street, Parkville, VIC 3010. See Location Map. 

Round 2: Monday 20 November 10.30 am - 12.00 pm

Venue: Room 120, Level 1, Asia Institute, Sidney Myer Asia Centre, 761 Swanston Street, Parkville, VIC 3010. See Location Map. 

The exam consists of three parts: A Reading Test (5 min), A Writing Test (1 hr), and An Oral Test (10 min). 

During the Reading Test, you will read out loud sections of an Indonesian newspaper article.

The Written Test has the following components:

1. Answering five questions about a short story in Indonesian

2. Answering five questions about a newspaper article in Indonesian

3. Writing an essay of 400 words on a designated topic in Indonesian

The Oral Test is in the form of a conversation with the examiner in Indonesian about the topics covered in the reading materials.

Applications and payment must be received no later than 7 days before the date of the examination. Payment is by credit card only.
