Humanitarian Design Internship (ABPL30064) FIELD TRIP

The Humanitarian Design Internship provides an opportunity for students to develop a deeper understanding of the role design can play in creating positive change within communities.

Students will undertake more than 80 hours of full-time design work experience over two weeks in India. Students will undertake a team design project in conjunction with Indian community partners.

Students will travel to the coastal city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (India) and would be based at the Laurie Baker Centre for Habitat Studies.

Eligible students will be required to contribute up to $2,700 towards travel cost.

In-country dates are February 1 to February 10, 2024.

Students organise and pay for their own flights and are welcome to travel before and/or after the in country study dates.
