PC4 2026 Scientific Symposium

The PC4 Symposium is the only dedicated opportunity for all primary care cancer researchers, clinicians and community representatives to come together to drive innovation and improvement in this field.

Our theme Primary Care: Central to Comprehensive Cancer Care was chosen to highlight the pivotal role of general practice and allied health throughout every cancer journey. The Symposium will showcase the latest research in primary care and cancer across a range of sub-themes, including the incorporation of cutting-edge technology, optimising the integration and provision of care across primary and tertiary systems, improving psychological and physiological support, and emerging trends in cancer and cancer care.

Pre-Symposium Workshop: Grant Writing that Wins

Join us for an exclusive opportunity to attend a workshop dedicated to helping EMCRs gain practical guidance for successful grant writing. 

This interactive session will comprise of unpacking your challenges associated with grant writing, help you to build your skills for future grant applications and hear insights from two highly experienced presenters: Professor Sandie McCarthy and Professor Richard De Abreu Lourenço.

Travel bursaries: PC4 is pleased to offer a limited number of travel bursaries to aid attendees in traveling to Adelaide. Applications for the travel bursary will close on the Saturday 20 June 2026. Details on eligbility will be made available shortly. 

Please indicate your interest to attend when registering for the PC4 2026 Scientific Symposium (made available shortly) and a PC4 team member will contact you to complete your workshop EOI. It is encouraged to complete this prior to 20 June 2026 to be considered for the travel bursary and first round of confirmed attendees as places for the workshop is limited.

Can I still register if my membership application is pending approval?
You may still register as a PC4 member if your membership application is pending approval, please select the "I have submitted a PC4 Membership Application" option.

I have been advised that I have a complimentary registration. How do I register?
Please contact the PC4 Office for further guidance.

Why is the registration amount of $220 only available to add to the cart?
Once you add this to your cart, you can select the appropriate registration type and the discounted rate will then be applied.

What if I can’t attend the event after I have paid my registration?
Registration is non-refundable, however please contact the PC4 Office to discuss your circumstances.

Can I attend the Pre-Symposium Workshop and not the PC4 2026 Scientific Symposium?
Unfortunately, to be considered for the Pre-Symposium Workshop, you must be attending the Scientific Symposium.
