What does the training include?
The module introduces clinicians to our current understanding and intervention approaches for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents.

Who is the training for?
The module is designed for mental health and health professionals working with children and adolescents, e.g. GP’s, allied health professionals such as psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, nurses, social workers and trainee psychiatrists and paediatricians.
Who provides the training?
The module has been developed by Mindful’s multi-disciplinary training team in collaboration with child adolescent psychiatrist, Dr Tejas Golhar, and Dr Emma Sciberras, clinical psychologist and member of the Australian ADHD Guideline development panel. Clinical perspectives are provided by Dr Daryl Efron, paediatrician. The module also includes lived and living experienced perspectives.

Mindful's workshops are funded by the Victorian Government. Some workshop places are made available for private practice and interstate clinicians, but many of our courses are specifically designed to skill-up particular cohorts of the Victorian mental health workforce. Our training is only available to overseas based clinicians on a case-by-case basis. If you practice outside of Australia please email our team at mindful-asd@unimelb.edu.au to confirm your eligibility.
