This is a 5.5 hour workshop delivered online via Zoom.

What does the training include?
This workshop will focus on Autism and ADHD in children 0-12 and adolescents diagnosed in childhood. This workshop includes:
· How common is ADHD in autistic children and adolescents.
· Key co-occurring features.
· Overview of assessment process for ADHD in the context of autism or autism assessment.
· Best practice supports and practical strategies for ADHD and co-occurring autism.
Lived experience perspectives will be incorporated throughout.
Who is the training for?
Mental health clinicians and other professionals working with children 0-12 and adolescents diagnosed in childhood, e.g. psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, mental health nurses, paediatricians, headspace clinicians, psychiatrists and registrars.

To be eligible for this training participants are required to complete ADHD Introductory (online on-demand training module). Please see our FAQs for further information.

Mindful's workshops are funded by the Victorian Government. Some workshop places are made available for private practice and interstate clinicians, but many of our courses are specifically designed to skill-up particular cohorts of the Victorian mental health workforce. Our training is only available to overseas based clinicians on a case-by-case basis. If you practice outside of Australia please email our team at mindful-asd@unimelb.edu.au to confirm your eligibility.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Registered participants who are unable to attend and notify us of this in writing prior to fourteen days before the workshop may either:
(1) cancel their registration and receive a refund of their payment minus administration fee of 20%;
(2) transfer their registration to another eligible participant (no fee);
(3) in some circumstances may be able to transfer their registration to an equivalent-cost autism workshop in the same calendar year, if space is available.
Cancellations with less than 14 days' notice are not refundable. If there is someone else in your workplace that you wish to transfer your registration to, this may be permitted.
